Dr. John Hogan is a recognized thought leader and speaker on the topic of strategic pricing and value-based strategy. Over the last twenty years, John has worked with companies to develop value-based strategies in a range of industries including technology, software, healthcare, information services, distribution, manufacturing, professional services, financial services and consumer goods.
In addition to his consulting work, John is an award-winning educator who has taught in executive programs at Harvard University, the University of Chicago, Columbia, and Duke along with over 100 in-house programs. He brings a dynamic and engaging style to the classroom that enables participants to learn effectively.
In 2009, he co-founded Value Management Advisors (www.valuemangementadvisors.com) where he innovated tools and strategies to help companies grow more profitably through value-based strategy. Prior to Value Management Advisors, John was a Partner at Monitor Group, a global management consulting firm, where he co-led the Strategic Pricing practice. Earlier in his career, he managed corporate pricing strategies for General Motors. When not writing, consulting or teaching, he is likely to be found on the backroads of New England on his road bike or in the kitchen cooking for family and friends.
